Updates on surgical airway manipulation
Once a CICO happened, appropriate implementation of the surgical airway is the final and only route of life-saving. Today's eFONA is not limited to the of surgeon’s patent skill, everyone in the ED, operating room or ICU, should be fully prepared to cope with expected or unexpected difficult airway management.
We focused on the field of surgical airway, to review the recent development and current status quo of the relative topics on surgical airway in the world. Human factor goes to the non-technic skill of team, must be emphasied.
Pre-hospital surgical airway and suggestions for covid-19 scenarios will also be highlighted.
