(Optimize efficiency of verbal communication during airway management while wearing personal protective equipment via wireless hearing device)
防護隔離衣及動力濾淨式呼吸防具能讓麻醉醫師在處置病人時, 減低被空氣,飛沫感染的機會. 在臨床情境之下, 呼吸小組往往需要大量的團隊溝通來達成種種困難的任務, 然而防護隔離衣卻為此帶來了限制為了增加團隊的溝通準確性以及聲音的清楚程度, 我們使用藍芽骨傳導耳機(AfterShokz OPENMOVE AS660, Shenzhen Voxtech Co., Ltd,China)以及APP通訊軟體來幫助溝通。
Personal protective equipment (PPE) or powered air purifying respirators (PAPRs) can provide a high level of protection when anesthesia professionals are at risk of exposure to the aerosol transmission-related infection.
In clinical settings, the health care team needs a lot of verbal communication to accomplish the difficult tasks. Although the protective equipment gives the medical staff protection, it also brings limitations in receiving medical orders.
In order to improve the sound clarity and volume of the medical staff wearing powered air-purifying Respirators, we use Bluetooth-enabled bone conduction headsets (AfterShokz OPENMOVE AS660, Shenzhen Voxtech Co., Ltd, China) and using the communication APP software to improve the conversation quality.
